About

Cargo bikes can offer a fast, clean alternative to motorised deliveries in London.

Working with businesses in London Bridge and around London’s Low Line corridor in Southwark, our Bikes for Business project has been making zero-emission cargo bike deliveries a mainstream solution for business freight since 2018. In that time we have supported over 200 businesses to make a switch to cargo bikes, making London Bridge one of the world’s leading centres for sustainable deliveries.

Watch our film of the annual London Cargo Bike Cruise, a world’s first, to see how cargo bikes are creating traffic jams without pollution or noise.

Helping you switch

We’ll support London Bridge businesses that want to make a switch to cargo bike for deliveries and services. Businesses that would like advice should get in touch with jack@teamlondonbridge.co.uk.

This could be courier, stationary, waste, window cleaning, electrical works, office fruit, butchery, flowers or laundry. The list is long. Check out our services directory for cargo bike services available in London Bridge.

Also, if  you are a business or service that works in London Bridge using cargo bikes, please let us know and we will add you to the services directory.

Our experience so far

From 2021 to 2023, we have delivered the Bikes for Business project with partners working across SE1 in London Bridge, Bankside, Bermondsey, Elephant and Castle and Walworth. This programme was funded by Impact on Urban Health.

We worked with Just Economics to evaluate the programme. We found out so much, and are so pleased that they have used this work and achieved so many audiences, and influence, including with the GLA and TfL.
