Mental Health Awareness Week - Move with Joy

  • London Bridge Hive 8 Holyrood Street London, England, SE1 2EL United Kingdom (map)

Kick off Mental Health Awareness Week by discovering how joy can be the driving force behind your physical activity; we promise this lunch & learn will leave you energised and motivated.

One of Irina’s favourite myths to debunk is: no pain, no gain - that in order to benefit from exercise, you must endure significant pain or discomfort during your workouts.

The common misconception is that working out and maintaining an active lifestyle requires hard work, sacrifice and discipline but the reality is, in the long run, it’s how much enjoyment you take out of the activity that will make you create long lasting, sustainable active habits in your life.

It is only when we prioritise joy in our movement that we become more consistent, motivated, vibrant and overall, a healthier individual.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Explore the various ways in which joy positively impacts your mental, emotional and physical well-being

  • Uncover practical and actionable steps that can be taken to leverage joy to create more movement in your day

  • Create sustainable habits for an active lifestyle

  • Discover simple to use movement practices that can be added to your daily routine

  • Leave with a personalised blueprint on how to create more movement in your life in a consistent and sustainable way
