Get involved in this year's community Christmas campaign

Over the past decade, the London Bridge business community have collected thousands of gift donations for local charities.

The campaign benefits a wide range of local charities who work with those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who struggle with mental health issues. Last year alone we collected 2162 presents from over 40 London bridge businesses.

All businesses in London Bridge are invited to get involved, large or small. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Express interest in joining the campaign by emailing Sofia and she will send you all the collateral (posters, email templates, images, ideas for gifts, etc) to help you spread the word in your work place

  2. Set up a collection point in a communal area from 11th November

  3. Bring all donated gifts to us by 10th December; Optional: set up your own volunteering social and involve your colleagues in wrapping and labeling all gifts before you bring them to us.

  4. Team London Bridge will send all gifts to local charities (by eco-friendly cargo bikes), just in time before their Christmas gatherings

If you’re interested in taking part in the 2019 campaign, please get in touch with Sofia.

More ways to get involved:

  • #coming soon# Go that extra mile and make it A Really Happy Christmas for one of the local charities. There are many ways in which you can be of real help, from sharing your skills pro-bono (accounting, legal, etc) to offering experiences such as hosting a group at your office.

  • #book now# If you’re looking to volunteer, we’ll need some helping hands for sorting and sending the presents to the charities on 11th December, click here for more details. There will also be a list with other local volunteering opportunities, coming out soon.

  • #coming soon# We also run the annual London Bridge Community Carols Parade with the children of Snowsfields and Tower Bridge Primary Schools. Join us on 28th November.

“Year after year we are astounded by the generosity of our businesses. London Bridge might be in the heart of our city but has a close-knit community that sincerely cares and looks out for its neighbours, not just at Christmas time, but throughout the year via our Responsible Business programme. This amazing amount of gifts will bring festive joy to many for whom Christmas can be a lonely, challenging time."  - Nadia Broccardo, Team London Bridge
