Poetry Shared Across London Bridge In Celebration of Earth Day
Across the week of 18 April and including Earth Day on Friday 22 April thousands of workers and residents across the London Bridge area had the gift of new poetry.
Commissioned by Team London Bridge to Celebrate Earth day, and produced by Apples and Snakes’, poets created a set of short poems and extracts which were shared on Digital screens at London Bridge Station, at London Bridge City and on social media.
This diverse group of commissioned poets were all part of the climate project ‘ Cece’s Speakeasy’ with Zena Edwards. The poems celebrate our connection with the earth, mother nature and our place as protectors of the planet going forward.
