A familiar face to begins a new Arts and Culture role at Team London Bridge

We are delighted to announce that our Medi-Culture Manager Amanda White will be combining her role with delivering our London Bridge Culture Strategy in her new position of Arts and Culture  Manager.

Starting in February, Amanda will work alongside our Events Coordinator to provide local employees, residents and visitors with a programme of exciting and engaging activities and interventions.

After the fantastic work achieved by Ellie Beedham in London Bridge over the past 6 years to elevate the cultural offer in the area, Team London Bridge will continue to work with partners and artists to bring festivals, performances, exhibitions, and social events to our community, helping it to remain the thriving neighbourhood we all enjoy.

Amanda has built the London Bridge Medi-Culture programme up from scratch and already has a strong network of supportive local partners, not to mention the many organisations she has worked with across London as a creative producer and consultant. With particular expertise the fields of health and wellbeing, Amanda will make sure our community is nurtured and in good shape as we continue to flourish together.

Amanda said, ‘We all want to spend time in places that give us a little bit extra and create new experiences that we enjoy and learn from. Our arts, culture and  events programme does just that and I’m raring to go and work with some of the brilliant people and businesses we have locally. The medical heritage is something I’ll continue to champion through Medi-Culture, and health and sustainability are also interesting threads to involve in our work, it’ll be thrilling to bring it all together’.
