Future Frontiers is a London-based education charity supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to discover their career aspirations and access high-quality education and training opportunities to realise their potential.

Future Frontiers was established in 2013 by our CEO Dominic Baker, a former teacher in Southwark and was determined to address the barriers that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds face on their journey through education to employment.

We work in partnership with businesses to recruit volunteers to support young people from local schools to explore their strengths, motivations and pathways to achieving their career goals.

We then provide personalised 1:1 guidance for young people to choose, apply for and secure their place on a further education or training course that will enable them to succeed on their career journeys.

“If I hadn't done this programme, I think I probably would finish Year 11 and not be 100% certain about what I want to do, whereas now, I have a clear path and I want to work hard at school because I want to get far. I am so happy my school took part because otherwise I honestly wouldn't have a clue.” Darcy, Year 10 Student who plans to be a Midwife.

Last year, we supported 2,857 young people from 78 schools and worked in partnership with 91 businesses.

We are always seeking school and business partners to support more young people who will benefit from additional tailored support to realise their potential.
