Our London Bridge is Safer

Security and Resilience

Team London Bridge is dedicated to creating a safer, more resilient London Bridge. By funding community police officers and offering tailored training programs, we work closely with local businesses and partners to reduce crime and enhance safety across the neighbourhood.

BID Funded Officers

We fund additional, dedicated officers from the Metropolitan and British Transport Police who focus on crime within the BID area, carrying out local patrols, training and serving the business community. Our BTP Officer PC Lee Noble leads regular multi-partnership operations in London Bridge Station.

Intelligence Sharing Meetings

We host regular crime reduction and intelligence-sharing meetings, open to local retailers and licensed premises to help maintain a safe environment for our community. These meetings include Pubwatch SE1, where pubs and bars in the SE1 area can meet up to discuss issues of concern to the licensed trade. ShopWatch and the quarterly Security Forum.

TLB Mass Notification Platform

Team London Bridge Alerts is our mass notification platform for major incidents. The platform allows us to readily share important information via email, SMS and mobile app with local businesses and their staff.

This service is entirely free, to register your contact details and receive these messages please email Nick@teamlondonbridge.co.uk

Pub Watch

London Bridge Pub Watch is a collaboration between local pubs and bars aimed at promoting a safe and enjoyable drinking environment. It helps reduce crime and anti-social behaviour by sharing information between venues and fostering a sense of community between licensees. It also enhances communication between the local police, Southwark Licensing and businesses. To become a member of our Pub Watch scheme please contact nick@teamlondonbridge.co.uk

Training & Accreditations

We offer free training on a wide range of topics, including Counter Terrorism, First Aid at Work, business continuity, and addressing stalking and harassment in the workplace. We also collaborate with Licensing SAVI and other partners to support local businesses in obtaining the necessary accreditations to create safer work environments. Check our events calendar for the latest sessions.

Cycle Safety

For those who cycle to work in London Bridge, we host regular BikeRegister marking sessions to help prevent theft, and other workshops to promote cycle safety, including HGV Awareness days.

Shop Watch

Our Shop Watch meetings bring together local retailers to enhance community safety and reduce crime. By sharing information about recent incidents, suspicious behaviours, and known offenders, businesses stay informed and vigilant. Retailers discuss effective security strategies, such as surveillance techniques and staff training, to better protect their stores.

Security and Resilience Forum

A Security and Resilience Forum brings together key stakeholders, including local businesses, community leaders with the Metropolitan Police Service, British Transport Police and City of London Police to collaboratively address safety concerns. By sharing information and insights about crime trends and vulnerabilities, participants can develop targeted strategies to enhance security. The forum promotes the implementation of best practices in safety and emergency preparedness, ensuring that all members are well-equipped to respond to incidents.
