South London Refugee Association

South London Refugee Association (SLRA) is a frontline community organisation aiming to relieve poverty and distress by working alongside refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants of all ages in South London as they build settled lives and positive futures.

We address complex needs through a range of holistic services including free specialist advice and casework, dedicated youth services and activities, ESOL classes, counselling, weekly support groups for men, women and young people, and activities to promote resilience and wellbeing. We are a vital part of the community and a core service provider for the area.

The people who need our services have often fled persecution, war or danger and are faced with a hugely complex immigration system with little help available. We provide the expertise they need to regularise their status and allow them to thrive.

Many of the people we see are forced into destitution or homelessness and receive little, or no, help from the authorities, which is why we want to provide some ray of sunshine over these winter months. By providing a gift for our service users, you will show that another person cares about them, you will touch a life and provide a little joy in these challenging times.
