Right here in London Bridge, in the heart of our community, the MediCinema at Guy’s Hospital brings the power of cinema to seriously ill patients. We build and run fully-accessible cinemas inside NHS hospitals, allowing thousands of patients and their families to experience the magic of film together—free of charge.

For many patients, a visit to MediCinema is the only moment of normality during weeks or months of treatment. It’s more than just a movie—it’s a vital escape, a chance to feel like themselves again, and be a person not a patient.

Our regular attendee surveys tell us:

93% The MediCinema experience reduces stress and anxiety
84% Think the positive benefits of MediCinema have a lasting effect
88% Think MediCinema can help support recovery
