Dr Bike - Free Safety Checks in London Bridge

  • 42-44 Bermondsey St London Bridge SE1 3UD United Kingdom (map)

Team London Bridge is hosting a free Dr Bike and Bike Marking session for local employees in London Bridge on 5th May 2022 from 8:30 -12:30.

WHERE: 42-44 Bermondsey St, London SE1 3UD (next to Bermondsey Bar and Kitchen, ring the buzzer or knock)

What is Dr Bike?

Experienced bike mechanics will check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. By the end, your bike will feel loved and cared for.

Any minor adjustments they can make to the bike, they do there and then. Anything they can't fix on site, they will let you know exactly what needs doing and a rough guide to what it should cost at a bike shop.

Bikes should be left in the morning and collected before 12:30 pm. It is a service dedicated for London Bridge businesses. No need to book, but we operate on a first come, first served basis.

If you have a bike that hasn’t been used for a long time that needs more than a regular check, you might just want to take it to a local cycle shop to you, or bring it on the train to get a professional opinion on its safety.

Bike Marking

If you want to mark it your bike for free through BikeRegister (usual cost £29.99) this helps prevent theft and allows the bike to be returned to you if stolen and later recovered by the police. We are no longer able to run this service at the same time as the Dr Bike, but do check our events page to see when the next Bike Marking session is taking place in London Bridge, we run them monthly.
