An Outdoor Sonic Adventure
Let a magical sphere take you on an outdoor sonic adventure this August around London Bridge. Seemingly possessed of its own mind, the sphere leads you through familiar and unfamiliar terrain. Can you keep the sphere ‘happy’ by going in the right direction? In return the sphere will take you on a listening voyage to the mysterious final destination where you will encounter a meeting of the spheres, a chiming, pulsing web of electronic sound.
Taking around 35-45 minutes and all outdoors, Congregation is perfect for a bit of lunchtime or post-work fun with friends from work, or for families and loved ones to get together this August. At just £5 per group you’ll have plenty of ice cream money to spare!
We are delighted to bring Congregation by multi-award-winning artist and composer Ray Lee to the area, 11-15 August. Ray has toured his work nationally and internationally with appearances at major outdoor programmes around the world. In 2021 his work can been seen at both the Brighton Festival with Norfolk and Norwich Festival. He has won a British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors of the Year award for the highly inventive music theatre project The Ethometric Museum which was performed locally in Ugly Duck in 2017.
Congregation is presented by Team London Bridge, Ray Lee and Potters Fields Park Management Trust with Unicorn Theatre, London Bridge City, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, Southwark Council, JMB Estates, Guy’s and St Thomas Foundation and STAMP.
The events include between 35 – 45 minutes of walking on level ground.
