Solvitur ambulando — it is solved by walking.
Winter’s crisp air and soft light provide the perfect reason to step outside and recharge. Walking refreshes the body and mind, offering a welcome break from busy routines.
Join us for a lunchtime walk through London Bridge. This one-hour route follows the Thames and explores hidden streets, pocket parks, and green spaces nurtured by local pioneers. Discover stories of immigrant communities that shaped the area and finish at the historic grounds of Guy’s Hospital, a centre of healthcare and research.
The walk aims to inspire further exploration of local wellness activities, fostering a sense of connection and belonging. Open to residents, workers, and students alike, this inclusive tour is wheelchair-accessible and will proceed rain or shine, so please come prepared.
Meeting point: The Queen’s Walk, in front of HMS Belfast, opposite Morgan’s Lane. Look for the team member wearing a London Bridge badge.
The walk will be led by Sarah Williams-Robbins, a former director with children’s mental health charity Place2Be, with a background in public health promotion. As an executive coach and an accredited London guide, Sarah is passionate about the benefits of building active choices into our daily lives. Follow Sarah on Instagram @meetmrslondoner
