Love Lunch 2019: A Tour of Potters Fields Park
Love Lunch is back and this time at Potters Fields Park, an award-winning green space between Tower Bridge and City Hall. With its contrasting open lawns and densely planted wildlife-friendly gardens, it offers a welcome oasis for residents, workers and visitors to take a break from the surrounding urban bustle.
The Park (and the nearby St. John’s Churchyard) are run by an independent not-for-profit Trust, which funds the Parks’ maintenance by hiring out Potters Fields for events on a limited number of days each year.
Whether you’re seeking peaceful contemplation at lunchtime, great views, somewhere to walk the dog, a place to picnic with friends or the chance to enjoy a variety of cultural and community events, the Park offers something all year round.
Please meet at the main entrance on Tooley Street.
Participants should dress for the weather! The tour will go ahead unless weather conditions are extreme (e.g. torrential rain, very high winds).
It's time to learn to Love your Lunch hour again. Taking a break from your working day is proven to enhance a healthy lifestyle so Team London Bridge is providing a menu of FREE lunchtime options around London Bridge to get you out and about weekday lunchtimes throughout September 2019.
