Love Lunch 2019: Greening the City by Cityscapes
Cityscapes is a not-for-profit organisation that was launched in 2012 by Adolfo Harrison and Darryl Moore to bring new dynamic approaches to the way the urban environment is designed, managed and inhabited, by creating innovative temporary and permanent parks, gardens and installations that are surprising, thought provoking, accessible and inclusive. Embracing a cross-disciplinary collaborative approach, Cityscapes projects transform neglected and underused spaces into multi-functional places, bringing together people and plants in ways that command attention, encourage investigation and facilitate engagement, whilst embracing flexibility to ensure ecological, economic and social sustainability.
Cityscapes works in partnership with designers, artists, cultural organisations, councils, business improvement districts and community groups.
A tour of greening projects that Cityscapes have done with Team London Bridge including Greenwood Theatre pocket park, Gibbon’s Rent community garden and the New Forms temporary garden installations at a London Bridge Station.
Please meet at the New Forms garden installations, Stainer Street, London Bridge Station.
