Team London Bridge has been a Living Wage accredited employer for a number of years and our commitment to fair wages reflects not only our dedication to our own workforce and suppliers but also our ambitions for the area, as outlined in our London Bridge Responsible Business Plan. As we heard from others during the Living Wage Week, a real living wage comes with a lot of direct benefits to businesses, and in particular with enhanced mental health and wellbeing for employees.
What’s more, Southwark Council has been re-accredited as a Living Wage Place, and we are proud to be part of the business action group that drives the efforts towards even more businesses being accredited in the next 3 years. They have just announced a new grant to cover the accreditation fees for up to 3 years for newly accredited Living Wage Employers based in Southwark. The scheme is open to employers with 250 employees or less. Find out more and apply online.
If you are focusing on ESG reporting or the SDGs, obtaining the Living Wage accreditation is a very impactful step you can take! There’s a lot more work to do and we’ve got ambitious plans, so, if you’d like to be involved or simply to find out more, please get in touch with our Responsible Business Director, Sofia Alexandrache.
We are constantly working on mapping all accredited employers who are based in London Bridge, if you know that your employer/ business has the Living Wage accreditation and is not mentioned here please let us know:
