Back by popular demand, this Love Lunch session explores the fascinating life and work of Florence Nightingale.

“Best Zoom event I attended since lockdown”

Everyone knows Florence Nightingale as the world’s most famous nurse. But did you know she was a nurse for only a few short years of her life? 2020 marks Nightingale’s bicentenary with a new exhibition, “Nightingale in 200 Objects, People & Places”, demonstrating what influenced her on her own journey as an icon, leader and pioneer – which you can now see online.

Join Melissa Chatton, the Assistant Director of Learning and Community Engagement at the Florence Nightingale Museum, to hear more about the 200th celebratory exhibition (which we encourage viewers to explore in advance), what made Florence such a key and inspirational figure and a live Q&A.

Zoom link will go live from 11:50 BST, you will receive the joining instructions a few hours in advance. This event is live and will not be recorded.
