Another fun and creative hands-on workshop with Gail, the artist!

Join artist Gail Seres-Woolfson for a creative session of drawing and painting experimenting with portraiture/self-portraits. This is a fun, relaxed and varied session introducing you to some famous and less famous portraits/self-portraits and multiple ways to make our own! No experience of drawing/painting is needed – come along to see the human head from a new perspective and to enjoy making together!

Things to bring along:

• an old shirt/apron (this session uses acrylic paint and you’ll be more relaxed if you’re not wearing your best clothes!)

Optional extras:

• you might like to bring along a black and white A4 print-out of a selfie or of somebody you know (ideally quite a close-up of the head and shoulders – not smiling is more classical, or you can be playful with any expression you choose!). Alternatively, there will be printed images in the session that you can work from, and you can also refer to images on your phone.
