Join us for a playful and relaxing art jamming session, presented by Team London Bridge and artist Gail Seres-Woolfson.
Painting is for everyone! Join artist Gail Seres-Woolfson for a playful and relaxed session to test out a variety of painting techniques using acrylic paints, a brush and a collection of less orthodox tools equally good for painting with! We’ll be inspired by a range of abstract artworks and create a selection of small abstract painting studies of our own. No painting experience needed – this is a session to stimulate creativity and experimentation.
Things to bring along:
an old shirt or apron (you’ll also be more relaxed if you’re not wearing your best clothes!)
Optional extras:
any ‘unorthodox tools’ you might like to test with the paint – eg bits of sponge / foil / string / polystyrene / take-away cutlery / an old laminated credit card / bottle tops / small items to stamp into the paint etc.
a small ruler
a roll of masking tape
a pair of scissors
black fineliner/marker pens (any thickness)
a newspaper
