About
To help the journey to reduce carbon emissions in London Bridge, we have set up a Net Zero steering group, and are encouraging anyone in the community to play a role as a sustainability champion.
Led by our business community
In January 2023, our business community came together to form the London Bridge Net Zero Steering Group.
The steering group provides strategic direction and leadership of all our work to reduce the 130,000 tonnes of CO2 that we generate in London Bridge (2019 baseline), as calculated with the xtonnes carbon footprint measuring tool.
Steve Johnson is a Director at Hilson Moran and has been nominated Chair of the Steering Group. Steve said “I’m really pleased to be able to help the London Bridge community take action on climate change, it’s so important for businesses to play a full role, and as a community we can act together”.
Our steering group members are from the following businesses:
dRMM
Fully Charged
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust

London Bridge Net Zero Steering Group Terms of Reference
This is a quarterly meeting, and members have also formed sub-groups to take forward specific initiatives, including:
- Green Network
- Decarbonisation Charter
- Sustainable Transition Fund
- District Heat Network
Get involved
There will be opportunities for committed members to join the Steering Group. But it is just as important to get involved in the sub group initiatives, sign up to events and networking, champion a project in your own business, or set up a green team in your building to make changes.
