New Volunteering Dates Released
We’re inviting local business professionals to dig in and help out. For the past 13 years we’ve been creating and managing public green spaces across London Bridge, and we’re now offering volunteer opportunities to come and help our team of gardeners from St Mungo’s Putting Down Roots – a horticultural training charity that supports the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
Next sessions
18th Apr / 9am-1pm
14th May / 9am-1pm
20th June / 9am-1pm
E-mail Sofia to book.
Sessions are open to individuals who would like to volunteer as part of a mixed group. All professionals based in London Bridge are welcome to join.
You will be working with (and learning from!) Putting Down Roots who are based at the Melior Street Community Garden & Allotment. You may work on this site, or across a variety of other sites such Gibbons Rent, The Greenwood Theatre, Whites Grounds, Guy’s Hospital, Tabard Gardens and Snowsfields Primary School, all of which are within a 5 minutes walk of London Bridge Station.
Volunteers will contribute to a truly valuable initiative and help make London Bridge a greater place to work, live and visit. Team London Bridge are proud to be winners of Gold & Best Business Improvement District at the 2018 London In Bloom gardening awards. We couldn’t have achieved this without input from our business community.
