Volunteers needed: Beyond Food provide thousands of free meals for those in need

London Bridge social enterprise Beyond Food Foundation have supported thousands of vulnerable people over the years, enabling those at risk of, or experiencing homelessness to gain meaningful employment and lead sustainable, independent lives.

As the COVID-19 virus presents new challenges, the organisation has adapted its services, making thousands of meals each day at Brigade restaurant and partnering with local charities and organisations to deliver these free, nutritious meals to those in greatest need.

How can I help?

On Thursday 19th March, the first day of operation, Beyond Food received request for over 1000 meals, and could only supply 500. The demand is only set to grow larger.
