Gift Back with Team London Bridge

Over the past decade, the London Bridge business community have collected thousands of gift donations for local charities.

Now more than ever, we need your help to brighten up someone’s Christmas.

The campaign benefits a wide range of local charities who work with those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who struggle with mental health issues. Last year alone we collected 2524 presents from over 40 London bridge businesses.

Charities taking part this year: Time & Talents, Bede House, Stones End Day Centre, The Manna Society, South London Cares (a few more to be confirmed)

How to get involved

All London Bridge businesses are invited to get involved, large or small. Simply express interest in joining the campaign by emailing Sofia and specifying how you’re able to help, choose one of these options:

🎄 Working from the office? Galvanise support from colleagues and collect as many gift donations as you can in your office between 8th Nov and 9th Dec, and even better if you can also wrap them nicely! Sofia will send you the gift label templates so you know what categories to put them in, plus a poster and other tools to help you spread the word. Drop off the gifts to us in London Bridge on 9th Dec, we’ll send them to the charities by cargo bike.

🎁 Working from home? Make a charity’s wish-list come true by liaising with them directly, but virtually! Pick one from the list below and email Sofia for introductions, you can then order the items online and have them delivered straight there; most charities prepared a digital wish list. In this way you ensure all their service users will receive one gift just in time for their Christmas gatherings.

Deadline 9th December Most charities would need to receive the gifts by this date in order for them to then sort out how to distribute the gifts to their service users at home or at their Christmas gatherings.

Visit our Gift Back with Team London Bridge page for more information about the charities involved and an overview of what’s on their wish lists.
