PC Lee Leads Major Crime Targeting Operation at London Bridge Station

This July our BID funded officer PC Lee Noble led a large scale operation at London Bridge station.

Operation Defiant saw the collaboration of 120 officers and 5 dog units from British Transport Police, Kent Police, the National Crime Agency (NCA), and the UK Home Office, along with partner agencies including Southwark Council's safeguarding and social services team. Officers made 8 arrests, including an individuals wanted for recall to prison.

Here our Security and Community Safety Director Nick Morant talks us through this large-scale operation which employs stop and search tactics to target and reduce crime in the area.

Thank you to all our partner agencies and officers for their hard work helping to keep London Bridge safe. Well done PC Lee - great work!
