Impact Summary:

  • 11 grants given to small charities and residents groups
  • 605 people of all ages were positively impacted by the projects delivered
  • £31,250 in total was given this year

Funded Projects:

  • CAD-HR – Helps migrant communities become Ofsted-registered childminders through training and support.
  • Edible Rotherhithe – Teaches 132 children to grow food and connect with nature through Forest School sessions.
  • Elmington Community Gardens – Provides free workshops and open-access food-growing spaces for residents.
  • The Psychosynthesis Trust – Supports individuals in managing anxiety through community and nature-based activities.
  • Ignite Hubs – Equips young people with coding and STEM skills for digital careers.
  • Lung Theatre – Engages 4,100+ people in a musical co-created by looked-after children at Southwark Playhouse.
  • Power2 – Empowers young people to mentor younger children, building confidence and employability skills.
  • Sculpt – Runs a six-week employment support program for disadvantaged 14-16-year-olds, boosting skills and confidence.
  • Paxton Green Time Bank – Connects people on the Kingswood estate through skill-sharing and creative activities.
  • Camberwell After School Project – Provides hands-on childcare experience for unemployed Southwark residents.
  • The Purple Ladies – Offers weekly wellbeing activities, a social café, and a skill-sharing platform.
