These new designs have been created alongside the planning application for Snowsfields Quarter, a health and lab development which would replace the multi-story car park by the park.

The designs aim to create a garden for nature, health and community, and include features like play equipment, ball court, fitness equipment, picnic tables, outdoor café space and ecology garden.

Residents, and people working locally, are encouraged to share their thoughts at one of the upcoming events in Guy Street Park, or alternatively, contribute via this online form. The events will provide opportunities for people to engage with the designs and have their voices heard.

The first event, on Wednesday, April 9th, from 11am – 2pm, will feature an Egg Hunt and Spring Crafts in the park, offering a fun and creative way for families to enjoy the spring weather while learning more about the park’s upcoming changes.

A consultation day on Thursday, April 24th, from 12pm – 6pm will give visitors the chance to share their thoughts on the park’s design and contribute ideas. Attendees can also create their very own herb pots to take home.

The community’s input is vital in shaping the future of Guy Street Park, and both events provide perfect opportunities to engage and help make the park a better place for all.
