Building a Resilient London Bridge

On the 11th July our Southwark Security & Resilience Forum – a strategic group comprising the emergency services and major businesses across London Bridge & Bankside - met for the second time this year.

With the ultimate aim of encouraging preparedness and strengthening the area’s resilience, the group assembles to share best practice and local intelligence with one another, build working relationships and rehearse scenarios through tabletop exercises. Kindly hosted by EY at More London, on this occasion we ran a hypothetical Hazardous Materials incident, with some excellent technical input from London Fire Brigade and a demonstration from the British Transport Police’s Specialist Response Unit.

You can find more information on minimising disruption to your business if an incident should occur here.

Our thanks to all those who took part and if you would like a copy of the exercise to use within your own organisation please email henry@teamlondonbridge.co.uk.
