@Disturbance: Filmmaking Workshop with Talia Beale

Join filmmaker and musician Talia Beale for a filmmaking workshop at Ugly Duck, a South London based arts organisation that supports under-represented voices and emerging artists. Taking place on Saturday 5th November, this interactive session will explore storytelling, play, and reclaiming narratives through moving image.

In this half-day workshop, participants will:

● Connect with peers and form new creative collaborations

● Gain insight into developing their creative interests and pursuing a career in art film

● Learn new ways of storytelling through audio-visual mediums

● Create a short film using mobile phones

● Leave the session with new skills to continue their journey afterwards

This session is designed for young people between the ages of 18-25. We prioritise interest from women, non-binary and trans people, and particularly from people of colour.
