The Old Operating Theatre Museum is hiring a Commercial Manager

The Old Operating Theatre Museum (Lord Brock Trust) is seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager at an exciting time in its ongoing development.

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the overall management and development of the Museum’s commercial operations (museum shop, online shop, events and venue hire).  The ideal candidate will have a track record that demonstrates a passion for creativity and customer service, with a primary focus on retail.  The candidate will comfortably understand the Museum’s mission and goals, and ensure the commercial activities are fulfilled efficiently and effectively in line with our charitable purpose.

  • 15 hours (2 days) per week between Monday-Sunday, with occasional out of hours working for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be available

  • £30,000 pro rata (£12,000 actual) pre deductions

  • Pension Scheme, Health Cash Plan Membership, Flexible Hybrid Working where possible, Training
