Front of House Manager and other positions available at Unicorn Theatre

 

The Unicorn Theatre is seeking a Front of House Manager.

The Front of House Manager is based in the Marketing & Communications team, which handles all our audience-facing operations and takes responsibility for all aspects of the Unicorn Theatre’s audience experience. The role is instrumental in providing the highest level of service to all visitors, whilst maintaining the smooth and efficient running of all Front of House operations, and for selling merchandise, food and drink.

 

You will lead and manage the Front of House Team and work closely with the Marketing & Communications Team and wider company to implement joint strategies to champion and promote exceptional visitor service throughout the whole organisation, ensuring our brand values inform all Front of House operations, from welcome/events to safety and accessibility.

 

The Front of House Manager oversees the Deputy Sales & Performance Manager (with the Box Office Manager), approximately four casual Performance Managers, and a team of 25-30 casual ushers. Some ushers self-identify as having learning disabilities and are supported through our Usher Plus scheme to deliver high levels of customer service. The Performance Managers are the first point of contact for the team’s welfare, with ultimate responsibility for HR of the team resting with the Front of House Manager.

 

The Front of House Manager plays a vital role in Health & Safety across audiences and the building, and is a key member of the Health & Safety Committee.

Contract: Permanent, full-time. We will consider applications for flexible working.

Salary: £30,000 per annum.
