Free health checks for employees

Southwark Council, with the support of SiSU Health, are delighted to offer workplaces across the borough a chance to improve their employees’ health and wellbeing through quick and convenient health checks. Until 31st March 2025, workplaces across Southwark will have the chance to join the Workplace Cardiovascular Disease Check Pilot, commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care (via Southwark Council and SiSU Health).

The pilot provides workplaces with health checks that quickly and conveniently check things like blood pressure and BMI. This can help to spot the early signs of heart disease and reduce the risk of having a heart attack, stroke or developing diabetes. Cardiovascular disease is estimated to cost the UK economy £25 billion every year, including billions of pounds through lost productivity. Protecting your employees’ health is essential to tackling this!

The health checks will be performed on SiSU's Health Stations. These stations allow a health check to be completed in only 5 minutes.

The use of the Health Stations is completely free, and we handle all the installation processes, including delivery and removal. All you have to do is tell us a few things about your company and where you'd like the Station to be placed.

At the end of the Installation SiSU will provide you with an insights report detailing the Health risks and areas of concern. A 30-minute Teams call will be booked to run through the report with your key contacts.

Book an installation meeting to talk to our team and get set up with a health station – it won’t take long, we just need to know a few things about your company to get started.
