10 volunteers needed by local group this October

This opprtunity has now been mathced with two London Bridge businesses, no longer needed.

Elmington Community Gardens are a group of residents who identify disused and misused places on the estate and re-establish them as areas which aim to improve biodiversity, estate aesthetics, resident mental health and community engagement.

They are looking for some helping hands in October (you can pick a mutually convenient date)

Can you get together a team of around 10 colleagues? The volunteering activities will include weeding, mulching, laying a border from scaffold boards, building planters, pruning, hedging.

They can provide lunch and refreshments. There is no specific date in mind, but it will need to be completed by the end of October.
