UEFA EURO 2020 Potters Fields Park Information
We’re only a few weeks away from the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament and we look forward to seeing you at the Football Village on Potters Fields Park. As a recap, London will be one of 11 hosts of UEFA EURO 2020 this summer, the biggest sporting event to be hosted in the city since the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It presents a great opportunity for Londoners across our city to be a part of, and enjoy, an exciting, high profile, global event.
Potters Fields Park will be the host of the family-friendly Football Village, where Londoners and those visiting the city can come to enjoy local entertainment, football activities, food and drink stalls and screens to watch selected matches and tournament highlights.
The Football Village will not screen:
• England matches
• Matches with a 20:00 kick off time on Sundays
• The final. We are working closely with local authorities including the Metropolitan Police Service and will take advice their advice if any other games are instructed not be screened.
Operational information
05 - 10 June 2021: Site installation
• We will be operating between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 and will endeavour to keep any disruptions to a minimum
• 24 hour security will be present on the site
11 June – 11 July 2021: EURO 2020 tournament
• The Football Village will be open to the public from 11:00 every day during this period
• The team will be on the site getting ready for each day from 07:00. This will include deliveries for the food and beverage concessions, clearing the bins and setting up activities for the day
• The team will be clear of the site by 23:00 every day, except for Sundays when they will be clear by 22:00
• 24 hour security will be present
12 -15 July 2021: Site derig
• We will be operating between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 and will do our best to keep any disruptions to a minimum
• 24 hour security will be present
Apart from two suspended club car parking bays on Potters Fields, there are no planned road closures or parking suspensions for this event.
If you’re planning on joining us If you’re planning on visiting the Football Village, here are some key bits of information for you:
• The site will be open from 11:00 every day
• The main entrance is via Tooley Street
• Everyone will need to go through a security search on arrival and asked to sign in via the NHS COVID-19 app
• This will be a cashless site

Other activities
On Sunday 13 June, Tower Bridge will also be hosting a EURO 2020 event, meaning that Tower Bridge Road will be closed to vehicles from Tooley Street to East Smithfield.
