At Guy’s Cancer Charity, we’re here for the people behind every moment of progress. From a major medical breakthrough to an enhancement in cancer treatment, or the day a patient gets the all-clear after years of personalised care.

Thanks to our supporters, the dedicated Guy’s Cancer team can continue pushing boundaries and offering the latest in personalised care. 100% of the donations we receive help to fuel Guy’s Cancer’s incredible work, funding things like: 

·       Pioneering surgical robotic technology so expert surgeons can work with greater accuracy and send patients home to their families sooner. 

·       Virtual support group sessions, enabling patients and carers to share their experiences of cancer from the comfort of their own home.

·       Expert welfare and benefits advice for patients experiencing financial hardship, giving them the freedom to focus on their recovery.

·       Groundbreaking research which is advancing cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment and giving patients access to revolutionary care.

·       Initiatives and equipment that enabled the outstanding Guy’s Cancer team to continue delivering seamless care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and keep people with cancer safe.

Fundraising events and activities

NEW Join us at St Thomas’ Abseil 

We’re asking the public to join our exciting Abseil event at St Thomas’ Hospital on the 22 and 23 September 2023. In this adrenaline-fuelled charity event sponsored by Livingbridge, brave abseilers will descend 160ft down the hospital. Come along and experience a festival atmosphere with live music and cheer on our brave abseilers raising funds for Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Evelina London Children’s Charity, and Guy’s Cancer Charity.

One of our Abseil participants, Johnny, said “I am taking part in the abseil because the work that Evelina London Children's Charity does is so vital, and so inspiring. My own little boy, Ruri, was poorly when he was born, so I know first-hand how important it is to feel your child is getting the best possible care."

Join us at St Thomas’ Hospital front entrance from 9am – 7pm on the 22 and 23 September and support our abseilers.
