Join the London Bridge community and the local primary schools at our annual carol singing and lantern parade beside the Thames this December.
The choirs from local primary schools will lead us singing a selection of traditional favourites in Potters Fields Park beside Tower Bridge before taking us along the river. The children from Snowsfields, Tower Bridge and Robert Browning Primary Schools have been working hard making their handmade lanterns and will spread the seasonal fun through Hay’s Galleria before ending up at London Bridge Station. We’re hoping to be joined by some special guests, including the Mayor of Southwark. Everyone is welcome!
Afterwards, why not take in the Christmas by the River market in London Bridge City for seasonal treats and crafts, or do a spot of Christmas shopping in the boutique stores at London Bridge Station?
Start: 4:00pm in Potters Fields Park, just by the ex-City Hall building, arriving from St John’s Churchyard Park.
Route: Potters Fields Park, Hay’s Galleria, London Bridge station.
End: the estimated end time is 5:00pm in London Bridge station.
This event is organised by Team London Bridge, Potters Fields Park Management Trust and The Bridges Federation, with in-kind support from London Bridge City and London Bridge Station.
