Southwark Stayhouse
Southwark Playhouse has launched a Southwark Stayhouse streaming programme, available free until it reopens its doors.
Offerings include the “fantastically witty” Wasted, a rock musical about the Brontës, directed by Adam Lenson with music by Christopher Ash and book and lyrics by Carl Miller. There’s also a Twelfth Night relocated to a music festival, directed by Anna Girvan, and Jesse Briton’s Bound, about a maritime tragedy. A new British musical, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Richard Hough and Ben Morales Frost, had been due to open to the public in January but will now be streamed from 26 February-14 March instead.
