A Carbon Strategy for London Bridge
As part of our commitment to make London Bridge part of a Carbon Neutral Southwark by 2030, Team London Bridge is partnering with Useful Projects and xtonnesTM to develop our Carbon Strategy.
Starting in the new year we will be engaging with businesses to start to map and measure the carbon footprint of the area and identify how changes can be made.
It has been clear from previous work around this topic that the TLB community is particularly committed to this cause, so the project is something we can’t wait to start working with you on.
There will be three phases of work:
Carbon baseline – using the xtonnes software, undertake an initial assessment of our collective carbon footprint with a quick profile of businesses and landlords, as well as providing the opportunity to get a more complete picture of their own carbon footprint
Routemap – based on this data and engagement with key members of the London Bridge community, develop the actions and interventions required to be zero carbon
Launch – jointly commit to the Routemap and begin our zero carbon journey.
