Cargo Bike project off to a flying start thanks to our chirpy riders

When we launched our Bikes for Business project last month we asked the many cargo bike operators in London to play birdsong on their bikes through July to help us all imagine what our streets would sound like without noisy vans and lorries.

We are hugely grateful to the riders who continued playing birdsong from some of the UK’s most loved species including Goldfinch, Blackbird, Blue Tit and Songthrush on all daytime deliveries throughout the month.

The launch gained coverage on Sky News, BBC London and The Guardian, giving the Bikes for Business project and the fast growing move towards cargo bike deliveries across London a real shot in the arm.
