London Bridge Celebrates our Net Zero Heroes at launch of new Decarbonisation Charter

A few of the London Bridge Net Zero Heroes

Team London Bridge is excited to announce the launch of the London Bridge Decarbonisation Charter.

Over 100 local business representatives from our community gathered at the stunning Great Hall at Lalit London to celebrate this commitment and to recognise the brilliant work already being done by London Bridge based organisation and partners.

The audience were led into proceedings by comedian, podcaster and corporate speaker Stuart Goldsmith who gave us his perspective on the challenges ahead, before Team London Bridge Chief Executive Nadia Broccardo and Placeshaping Director Jack Skillen officially launched the Charter.

A framework to lead us all to Net Zero

With 35 founding signatories, the London Bridge Decarbonisation Charter is a collaboration between landlords, tenants and local businesses in the BID area to accelerate the transition to net zero. The more businesses commit to reducing their carbon emissions, the faster the area can reach its net zero target. Sounds simple? Unfortunately it’s not, but that’s why businesses are taking part – it provides a framework that allows them to take part at whatever stage of their sustainability journey they are currently at, whether based here, a landlord, managing agent or service partner.
