Read more about what the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown means for you.

Londoners have made huge sacrifices to reduce the number of people getting sick in our city, however, there is still more to do, and we cannot risk another spike in cases. It is important that everyone continues to follow the rules to help keep us all safe and give us the best chance of restrictions easing further.

  • Non-essential retail can open.

  • Outdoor hospitality, such as bars and restaurants can open, but you must only attend as groups of six or as two households.

  • Personal care businesses, hairdressers and nail salons can open.

  • Libraries and community centres can open.

  • Outdoor attractions and events like zoos, fetes, fairgrounds, and theme parks can open.

  • Indoor leisure and sports facilities are reopening, but you can only attend them on your own, with the people you live with, or those who are in your support bubble.

  • Self-contained accommodation and campsites can reopen, but you can only visit them with the people you live with or those who are in your support bubble.

  • The limit of people at weddings, civil partnership ceremonies and wakes has increased to 15 people.

  • Care home residents can nominate two individuals for regular indoor visits.

However, some things remain the same. You can continue to meet up with others outdoors in private gardens and public spaces but only in groups of six (rule of six) or as two households. Indoor household mixing is still not permitted.

You should also continue to work from home if you can and minimise the number of journeys you make where possible.
