Get Involved in the Transformational Leadership Programme

Alongside many others, Impact on Urban Health is committed to weakening the link between race and poor health outcomes in Lambeth and Southwark. We are working with Inclusive Boards and Do It Now Now to deliver a structured programme for organisations which will  strengthen Diversity Equity and Inclusion strategies at multiple levels  including recruitment, staff development, policy and practice and service delivery.  Organisations will be supported with a baseline assessment and an action plan, and receive tailored guidance and one-to-one support from a DEI specialist.  Each of the 20 participating organisations will also be offered a high-performing Black leader as a board placement.  Guys & St Thomas’ Foundation will join as a participant, and we are looking for others to join us. Organisations are asked to make a £2,000 contribution towards the cost of this programme – please let us know if this is a significant barrier.

There is a parallel programme aimed at high-performing Black leaders who are passionate about improving health outcomes and have strong links to Lambeth and Southwark. Participants will be supported to develop their leadership skills and the particular capabilities needed to support strong DEI strategies through a programme of workshops, masterclasses and one-to-one coaching alongside a board placement.

There is more information including an expression of interest form here or contact Joshua Zvimba at: joshua.z@inclusiveboards.co.uk  with any questions.  Applications are being assessed weekly, with a final closing date of 29 October.
