Volunteer Fundraiser needed for the Bermondsey Street Festival

The Bermondsey Street Festival is a much-loved annual event that brings together local communities for a day of fun in September each year. 2021 was the 15th festival, and as usual the street was closed to traffic. There were craft stalls, live music in the park, a dog show, street food and thousands of people enjoying a relaxed day out. It is truly a wonderful day.

The festival is a free event, run by a not-for-profit community interest company and the work is done by volunteers. Most of the work is needed April-September, but fund-raising for Festival 2022 needs to start now. There are grant applications to be submitted and potential business sponsors to be contacted. If you would like to join the team and take this work on, they would love to hear from you. The role would be ideal for someone with connections in the local business community.
