Shard Lights returns with bespoke audio track
The Shard’s annual seasonal display – Shard Lights – returns on Tuesday 6th December. The event will see the top 20 storeys of Western Europe’s tallest building lit up with a display designed to celebrate the Capital at Christmas.
The light display will be set to a bespoke audio track that will be available to stream online, in sync with the light show. Londoners will be able to listen to the soundtrack, featuring sounds from the waves of the Thames to the bells of St Paul’s, wherever they are in London as they gaze up at the light show running in time with the music.
Using updated energy efficient LED lighting, Shard Lights 2022 will begin at 18:00 on the 6th of December. The display will continue from 17.30 every evening until New Year’s Eve, helping to brighten up the winter evenings for all Londoner’s commuting home.
