Bermondsey Street permanent measures
Southwark Council would like your thoughts on proposals to improve accessibility on Bermondsey Street. The consultation will run until January 13th.
The aims of these proposals are to:
• Improve the materials used to widen the pavements to reduce the changes in surface levels
• Create additional space for those using the pavements
• Improve accessibility and comfort for those with disabilities
• Improve the streetspace for all users
This consultation will inform the second stage of this project, which will seek to address the through traffic in this area.
