We’re bringing Bermondsey Street Festival favourites, The Poetry Takeaway to your home, in a one-off writing workshop.

This session is about letting your creativity lead the way, generating new and exciting writing in your own unique style. During this 45 minute workshop Laurie will take you through fast paced writing exercises to boost mindfulness. Anyone can do it and all you need is a pen and paper and somewhere chilled to sit and let your imagination do it’s thing.

Laurie Bolger is a London based writer currently touring her debut poetry collection ‘Box Rooms.’ Her work has featured at Glastonbury Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, various BBC platforms and for TATE; she is currently working on her first full length play.

Creativity and Wellbeing week is an annual festival set up by London Arts in Health and the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance. The festival started as a small event based in London in 2012 , to coincide with the Olympics, and quickly grew into a national setting; this year’s theme is ‘Care’.
