Yesterday’s Cargo Bike Cruise was our biggest yet, with 80 cargo bikes riding through central London to celebrate the uptake of of emission free transport in the capital.

But this month, it has been a treat to celebrate three major birthdays, with the 20th anniversary of BIDs, the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) turning 20, and the 10th year since the Low Line idea was coined by a resident living near London Bridge.
The Queen Elizabeth Gardens transformation is complete and has proven to be a treat for the local insect populations!
We joined forces with environmental charity BOST and volunteers from local businesses to revitalise Queen Elizabeth Gardens, a cherished green corner of London Bridge located at the top of Tooley Street.
The Southwark Green Investment, launched by Southwark Council earlier this month, provides individuals and businesses with the chance to fund green projects in the borough, and receive a return on the investment of 4.6%.
We’ve cleaned up 150 disused bikes left on their racks. The bikes will go on to find new owners through The Bike Project, a charity dedicated to repairing bikes and providing them to refugees in need.
